What Are Native Plants?

Native plants are those which lived in Florida before European settlement. When we design landscape we use the native flowers, grasses, trees, and shrubs which thrived here here on their own long before fertilizers and irrigation systems were needed.

Why Native Plants?

Natives are best suited for our local environment, they provided shelter, food and pollination for our urban landscapes. We use the plants as they would have lived in your particular area, meaning they are far more adaptive and usually require less maintenance.

Stone Work and Paths

We design unique custom landscape not just with native plants but with natural stone, pathways, drip irrigation and low voltage outdoor lighting. Native Oolite natural limestone makes great paths and retaining walls.

Tree Work

If you would like your trees professionally trimmed we have the resources and experience to do it. We work with homeowners and neighborhood associations.

Our Team of Dedicated Professionals

Our highly trained team of landscape professionals are state certified in a number of areas, such as Florida Friendly landscape maintenance, fertilization, and pest management. On top being able to do a variety of jobs such as hardscaping, plant installation, tree maintenance, mulching, irrigation repair… they also grow many of the beautiful native plants in our own nursery.

Our Native Plant Nursery

Here at our native plant nursery we propagate and grow a large number of the plants we install in our landscape designs. We also carry much of the bulk materials needs such as topsoil, compost, mulch, seashell and boulders at our facility.
